Body Prep Department - Operator 1Lebanon, Tennessee
Part of the first step in manufacturing porcelain tile is operating industrial machinery. The machinery mixes and grinds the raw materials. Tests are conducted to ensure there are no imperfections in the raw materials.
Will train qualified candidates.
Starting Compensation:

Applies glazes, designs, and finishes to tile surface.

Kiln Department - Operator 1Lebanon, Tennessee
When maintaining production standards, the Kiln department takes raw tile, heats it, and solidifies it to create the completed tile that is displayed.

The tile goes through the kiln (heating process), when it come out it is then sent to rectify and polish to perfect the edges and shape, polish, wax, and buff out any imperfections.

The sorting department is the final step in the process of the tile. Here, the tile is sorted by size and type. It is then wrapped and stacked, so it can be shipped out to be sold.

Ceramic Industrial Designer 1Lebanon, Tennessee
Major Functions & Scope:
- 5% – Key leader in the development and implementation of safe work practices, as well as setting safe condition standards; particularly in the areas of ergonomics and material handling.
- 20% – Communicate with Technical Services and Technical Operations to detail the requirements of the projects as well as plan and prepare the necessary steps to complete the project.
- 10% – Run the necessary tests and/or prototypes of legacy and new product lines according to sales requirements making sure that color and component specifications for each project are accurately justified for mass production.
- 5% – Perform regular quality checks with manufacturing to ensure that each component of the project adheres to the high standards of the company.
- 5% – Troubleshoots and reports abnormal findings on engobes and glazes.
- 10% – Prepares product changeovers in time considering all production process changes.
- 5% – Utilizes a strong analytical process to ensure the process is followed.
- 15% – Resolves technical problems with regards to shade variations, glaze defects, application problems and other problems including glaze line tests needed to ensure stability of the product during production.
- 5% – Maintains open mind and willingness to learn new jobs assigned.
- 20% – Work with R&D and Manufacturing Team on digital printing issues, graphic adjustments and on the floor practical aptitude toward the digital machine including introduction and use of new machines and technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Graphic Design, or Industrial Design.
- Ceramic Graphic Design experience for Graphic Design and Industrial Design graduates.
- Degree in Material Chemical Engineering or Inorganic Material Science Engineering.
- Proficiency in Photoshop software.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Capability to lift multiple boxes of tile from the floor, weighing up to 50 lbs.
Experience:
- Minimum requirement of 3 years of technical/industrial/manufacturing background in the ceramic tile industry.
Competencies:
- Core competencies include strong communication skills, organization, data analysis, interpretation, and prioritization abilities. Proficiency in training, coaching, and problem-solving. Solid computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and Photoshop.

Ceramic Industrial Designer 1
Rectifying Supervisor
Rectifying Supervisor: Plans, organizes, and manages production operations for the polishing department across all shifts.
JOB DUTIES:
- According to the production schedule, develop weekly production schedule and daily report, organize morning meetings and other meetings, make reasonable work arrangements according to the daily production schedule, supervise the implementation, and strive to improve production efficiency.
- Review the attendance of employees in ADP.
- Formulate and implement the management system.
- Production cost control and maintenance cost control of the Department.”
- Supervise the equipment maintenance of the Department to ensure the regular operation of the equipment.
- Make purchasing plans for the consumables (edging wheel, polishing pads, wax, nylon wheel, etc.) and vulnerable parts of the Department.
- Perform performance and work assessments for the employees and conduct pre-job training and evaluation for the new employees according to the company’s system.
- Complete all production targets set by the company.
- Communicate with the glaze and sorting lines to make a reasonable internal production schedule.
- Arrange production data collection work (daily output, material consumption) to provide the basis for analyzing production decision-making.
- Formulate detailed job instructions, solve technical problems in the production process, and provide assistance and specialized training to employees in time according to the company’s requirements.
- In case of an imbalance of production personnel in the plant, for example, personnel surplus or insufficient personnel in some processes, conduct proper adjustments.
- Arrange reasonable overtime according to the production schedule, and fill in overtime applications and other production-related forms. Deliver orders and information issued by the company to employees promptly.
- Quality control in each production process.
- Check and supervise the implementation of production schedules and safety in the plant. Master the abnormalities in the production and resolve them in time. In the meantime, report to the plant manager.
